Production
From vineyard to glass
Wine Production is what I am most passionate about. It’s easy to analyse and judge a wine, but far more humbling to make one. I've worked harvests in France, Spain and South Africa, and each one taught me something different: how much happens in the vineyard before a grape reaches the cellar, and how many small decisions shape what ends up in the glass.
I'm now developing a small production of my own from the Western Cape, focused on two of my favourite grape varieties: Grenache and Chenin Blanc. For the 2026 vintage, all were sourced from the Swartland. The wines have been naturally fermented, vinified with minimal intervention, and barrel-aged. The first wines are planned for release in Q2 2027.
That focus on production shapes everything I share. When I host a tasting or run a training session, I bring a winemaker's perspective on the choices behind every bottle.
